Caravaggio’s Cecco’ Serigraph Portfolio

Caravaggio’s Cecco’ Serigraph Portfolio

Exhibitions, Series and Works
This Portfolio is one of the last Printmaking Projects that I worked on while attending CSU Chico, a little over a year ago. I've been thinking of Printmaking a lot more recently and wishing that I could get back into printing (no press, and not much space). This portfolio was entered and selected to be in the CSU Chico 59th Annual Juried Student Exhibition my portfolio was selected for exhibition and the juror Glen Helfand made a mention of the work in his Exhibition Statement.  I really enjoyed working on this series and watching it evolve from early works that I wasn't really sure what the end goal was, into a cohesive work. Hiking in Lassen; Chaos Crags

Series and Works
Last week I hiked part of the Chaos Crags trail in Lassen, the trail follows Manzanita Creek at the start and then winds through the forest. The museum was built…

I believe that happens when there is not enough air inside of the balloon to create a pop sound. I also decided to photograph some on a solid black background, mostly just to see how much detail I am able to capture. I've also been thinking about what a series using this technique would look like and I have a few ideas that I'm hoping to explore soon. Photographing waterballoons is fun to do, but I don't find the resulting photographs particularly interesting past the initial wow factor anyways. The Textured background makes them more interesting to me…
