Soldier Chess Stories:

With the Stories series I am using real stories that soldiers have posted online at a variety of websites. The stories supply the background and an element of truth to the photographs, that would otherwise be fabricated. I then use props to depict the events of the story. The focus of the series is on non-combat stories, of living in a war zone. What do soldiers do when they are not in combat.
